I don't think the message of the video is so mainstream as in waranty, weight, price and so on. Where I'm from, just building up a fairly decent hardtail takes about 2 years or so. A friend of mine had a Drag Climber (old Norco frame... similar to sasquatch) with MZ Drop Off Tripples, 160mm Shimano mech disc brake at the font and 9 euro rims with High Rollers and Mobsters (the best tire Maxxis ever made). He ran in XC's won many, had a couple of DH victories... minor of course! He used to do a bit of trials as well, so I think it just means, ride what you feel like riding, because you ride for the hell of it, fun, excitement, not because you have to! The big drop at the end is just baad, for you and whatever bike you have if you have 0.13845% doubt. Just ride and stop complaining, that's all!
Cordova flip was the only original trick out there! I hate it when the good tricks get nothing. I guess the judges have a thing for some of the riders...
Amazing video! At first I didn't like all the Hart madness because of just one run, but what a run! He did run as smooth as butter in a hot pan. If you watch other videos with Danny, you will notice that he uses every single mountain bike move out there. He really does trust his tires, he moves into the perfect position and does it. He is so loose on the bike, just lets it go with the flow like water from a waterfall......downhill! He is the new Sam Hill, I hope he stays that way!
It looks more like the P3 but just the sloping top and down tubes. The Morpfeus "thing" is quite different.
I really like Saracen's new designs though, look the business! Hope we see some good spots with that bike this year.
Wow, it does look like a VP-Free :D
@dhmountain, too many similarities to miss out on.
Looks good in black, all I can say.
That was amazing. I don't think the pedaling section is a bad idea, it is a bike, it has pedals, and this way you can test the endurance of the riders. Pedaling is a big part of their training, so why not see who did their homework?
I just can't wait to see Steve Peat, Cedric Gracia, Brian Lopes, just gunning it on that straight and eat up everything as they go! About Us
